NorthClad ACM
The building shown above features Reynobond XXL, superwide ACM which is an aluminum faced composite panel. The joints are created by routing and returning the panel edges around an extruded aluminum attachment system. Northshore sizes the panels on CNC equipment locally in order to assure the best possible alignment based on field conditions.

The Substrate
- NorthClad's extrusion attachment system is engineered to provide superior wind uplift resistance and accommodate thermal expansion.
- Tested for air, water and structural per astm 283, 330, and 331, 508, and racking.

The Material
- Aluminum composite material (ACM) consists of 2 layers of aluminum, sandwiching a resin core.
- Fire rated cores are also available.
- Panels feature coil-coated Kynar paint, for a 20 year finish warranty.
- NorthClad Engineered panel systems utilizes ACM from Alpolic®, Reynobond®, Alcotex® and Citadel, allowing for a wide variety of standard color and natural metal finish choices.
- Acm provides a flat surface comparable to much thicker aluminum, at a more reasonable price. When you desire a larger panel modules or panels with greater impact resistance, aluminum composite material is the way to go.
The System
- ACM material is back routed to allow for bending and for interlocking extrusion attachment.
- Northclad Comp panels feature a pressure equalized rainscreen design.

The AL™ Series:
The NorthClad AL™ Series is an extremely versatile panel. Availability is key, and with a standard set of 169 different panel sizes your design options are maximized.
Each panel size is available in 20 standard colors. Custom panel sizes and colors are also available at an additional cost.

Based on .050 aluminum, the most widely used material in a wide variety of colors with a proven PDVF (Minimum 70% Kynar®/Hylar® Resins) paint system. Thicker is better in metal because weight will control flatness and minimize “oil canning”.
